Professor Liu Kaihua

LIU Kaihua received the BEng degree in semiconductor physics and device from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1982, and MEng degree in circuit and system from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1991, and PhD degree in signal and information processing from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1999.   From 1982, he joined the school of electronic and information engineering, Tianjin University, China.   He has been working in Tianjin University for twenty-six years, firstly as assistant lecturer, then as lecturer, associate professor and currently as professor.   He is now the secretary of EIE department and the director of digital information technique centre in Tianjin city.   He has earned many awards on teaching and scientific research.   He has got many finance supports from nation and local city.   His research fund has exceeded ten million Yuan.   His research interests include communication signal processing, software defined radio, digital multimedia system, DSP application, etc.   He has published above twenty papers in journals and international meetings.
