Professor Qiao Wang

Qiao Wang received the BS, MS and Ph.D degrees in 1988, 1994 and 1997 respectively in Mathematics from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. He joined the Department of Radio Engineering of Southeast University in 1997, and has been a full professor from 2001. He was a visiting scientist in Division of Engineering and Applied Science of Harvard University from 2003 to 2004. Now he is the Director of Signal and Information Processing Laboratory, Southeast University. His current interests include signal processing, image processing, wireless network, mobile multimedia, Nano-technology for DNA detection. He published a series of papers in signal/image processing and related areas in international referred journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Nano Letters, Frontiers  in Bioscience, Image and Vision Computing, Computer Vision and Image Understanding, Wireless Personal Communications etc. He is inventor of four Chinese patents in mobile TV and P2P stream media.
